Coffee mugs, espresso cups, tea cups, plastic, ceramic or porcelain

Cups are commercially available in various shapes and sizes. Standard are coffee mugs, which are combined with matching saucers. Particularly small cups are suitable for espresso, while large cup of cocoa or milk are suitable.

At a festive table can be decorated with a precious cup, with related saucer and dessert plate. While the coffee cup was made later and not quite as thin material, the cup of tea is mostly flat and thin-walled. The cup is different from the cup in that it has a handle. The soup bowl has even two of those. The precious cup on the festive table is made of fine porcelain and is often hand-painted. But there are cups made of glass, metal and plastic. The true coffee drinker will drink his coffee, only in a fine porcelain cup. The size of the cup is aimed primarily at the restaurant in accordance with what is to be drunk from it. While the coffee cup is rather small, the cup of cappuccino or hot chocolate is decidedly larger and usually very thick-walled. This was just general information related to mugs.
